Product Overview

A fully featured defibrillator/monitor for emergency and critical care

The Mindray BeneHeart D6 adds monitoring depth to the BeneHeart defibrillator platform. Manual defibrillation covers 21 selectable settings from 1 J to 360 J with a biphasic truncated exponential waveform and automatic impedance compensation, and charges to 200 J in less than three seconds or 360 J in less than seven seconds. Synchronized cardioversion delivers energy within 60 ms of the QRS peak.

Monitoring is the main difference from the D3: an 8.4-inch TFT colour display at 800 x 600 shows up to four waveform channels, and the unit monitors 3/5/12-lead ECG with respiration, SpO2, NIBP, EtCO2 (both Sidestream and Microstream), two IBP channels and two-channel temperature. A thermal recorder is built in and prints on 50 mm or 80 mm paper.

Noninvasive pacing runs from 30 to 210 ppm at 0 to 200 mA. Two 15.1 V / 5600 mAh lithium-ion packs can be fitted, giving roughly 400 shocks at 360 J, 12 hours of monitoring or 9 hours of pacing. Data leaves the unit over 5G or 2.4G Wi-Fi using IHE HL7 with DHCP, and the D6 integrates with a central monitoring system and the Pre-Hospital Emergency Information System. ICEN supplies the BeneHeart D6 to hospitals, emergency services and distributors, and confirms configuration and market requirements before quotation.
