The Mindray SV800 is a critical-care ventilator designed for ICU and respiratory support workflows. It covers adult, pediatric and neonate patients, with tidal volume ranges specified at 2-100 mL for neonates, 20-300 mL for pediatric patients and 100-4000 mL for adults.
The ventilation mode set spans V/P-A/C, V/P-SIMV, DuoLevel, CPAP, PSV, VS, APRV, PRVC(-SIMV), AMV, CPRV, PSV-S/T, nCPAP and NIV, so both invasive and non-invasive support are available on the same platform. A backup air-supply blower delivers at least 200 L/min and 80 cmH2O, and peak flow of at least 180 L/min is available in case of a single supply gas.
The system is fitted with an 18.5-inch colour TFT touchscreen at 1920x1080 pixels and weighs approximately 48 kg including the trolley and backup air supply. Two Li-ion batteries provide up to 180 minutes of operation, and the platform includes auxiliary pressure measurement, a lung recruitment tool (SI), a weaning tool and a PV-tool.
