Product Overview

Point-of-care ultrasound built for anaesthesia, emergency and critical care

The Mindray TE9 is a point-of-care ultrasound system designed for anaesthesia, emergency and critical-care environments, where imaging happens at the bedside or in a procedure room rather than in a dedicated imaging suite. A 21.5-inch high-definition touchscreen gives the examiner a clear view from anywhere in the room, and three transducer connectors allow different exam types to stay connected.

The system is built around procedures as much as imaging. eSpacial Navi provides 4D magnetic needle navigation with needle-tip and trajectory visualisation for in-plane and out-of-plane approaches, while iNeedle improves needle visibility at steep angles without sacrificing image quality. Auto GA identifies the gastric antrum edge and calculates its area in one tap, and iVocal allows voice control through a wireless microphone so the operator does not have to touch the panel mid-procedure.

Automated measurement tools cover the fluid-management and critical-care workflow: Smart VTI measures velocity time integral with cardiac output and stroke volume trending, Smart IVC documents collapsibility and distensibility index trends, Smart B-Line counts B-lines and maps lung water, and Smart FHR OB1 reads first-trimester fetal heart rate from B-mode imaging. eGateway moves exam data into the hospital network and EPR, and infection control is addressed with a seamless non-porous touchscreen, a 10-second screen auto-lock during cleaning and Z-Tracking to record which transducers were used on which patient.

FAQ

Common questions about Mindray TE9 Diagnostic Ultrasound System

What is the Mindray TE9 used for?

It is a point-of-care ultrasound system for anaesthesia, emergency and critical care, used for bedside assessment, ultrasound-guided puncture and vascular access, regional anaesthesia, lung and gastric assessment, and fluid-status evaluation.

How does eSpacial Navi help during a procedure?

eSpacial Navi is a 4D magnetic needle navigation technology that visualises the needle tip and trajectory during in-plane or out-of-plane procedures, supporting confirmation of needle location and helping to limit harm to surrounding tissue.

Which automated measurement tools does the TE9 include?

Smart VTI for velocity time integral, cardiac output and stroke volume trending; Smart IVC for collapsibility and distensibility index trending; Smart B-Line for B-line counting and lung-water scoring; Smart FHR OB1 for first-trimester fetal heart rate; and Auto GA for gastric antrum area.

How long can the TE9 run on battery?

The built-in battery allows up to two hours of continuous scan time, so the system can be used away from mains power during a procedure or transfer.

How is the TE9 kept clean between patients?

The touchscreen is seamless and non-porous, the materials are compatible with a wide range of disinfectants, a screen auto-lock disables the display for 10 seconds while the screen is cleaned, and Z-Tracking records which transducers were used during an exam.

Can ICEN provide a quotation for the TE9?
