The Mindray BeneFusion nVP is the n Series volumetric infusion pump. It covers IV drug infusion, enteral nutrition and blood transfusion in pediatric and adult patients, delivering at 0.10-2300 mL/h with infusion accuracy within +/-5% for PVC administration sets - the official datasheet states <= +/-4.5% for recommended sets.
A 7-inch colour TFT touchscreen at 150x800 pixels carries the interface. Delivery modes span Rate, Time, Dose, Dose Time, Body weight, Sequential, Intermittent, Loading dose, Ramp, Micro-infusion and Drip, and air-bubble detection resolves bubbles from 15 uL.
As with the rest of the n Series, the drug library holds up to 5000 drugs across 30 categories with colour-coded drug names and DERS. The pump weighs no more than 1.85 kg, and the battery runs at least 5 hours at 25 mL/h - at least 11 hours with the smart battery - recharging in 5 hours or less.
Connection options include USB wired and wireless, RS232, nurse call, a DC adapter and barcode scanning, with integration to BeneFusion nCS and the BeneVision central monitoring system. The housing is rated Type CF, Class I, IP33.
