The Mindray BeneFusion nDS is the n Series infusion supervision system. One controller runs 2, 4 or 6 pump bays, and an extension shelf adds four bays at a time, scaling the stack from 2 up to 24 slots - the largest expansion in the ICEN infusion range.
The controller carries an OLED display of 3 inches or more at 256x64 pixels, so station status is readable directly at the dock rather than only on each pump. The nDS takes both n Series and e Series pumps, which means a department standardising on n Series can keep existing e Series devices in the same station.
Connectivity is the differentiator for larger sites: Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, two USB ports and a network connector, with HL7 integration to HIS, CIS and EMR systems so infusion data reaches the hospital record.
The dock is secured in the Medical Supply Unit. Weight depends on configuration: no more than 2.9 kg for 2 bays, 3.9 kg for 4 bays and 5.4 kg for 6 bays.
